Siân Kidd is a London based artist and performer who creates puppets and moving sculptures inspired by nature. Working mainly with natural materials and found objects, she takes inspiration from the natural world, creating kinetic creatures that explore the themes of mortality and wildness, while celebrating the curious and playful.
Her work aims to find the story in an object and create life from the inanimate, which is influenced by her professional background in puppetry.
Many of the materials used in her work have been collected across the UK and internationally while touring as a puppeteer and she continues to use her training and knowledge in this field to influence her future work.
