Rebecca Parkin is a practicing fine artist whose work focuses primarily around drawing with elements of installation and text. She concocts fantasies which hover between multiple zones, bodies and genres where divergent strands of art history and popular culture are stewed together forming new contaminated fictions. Horror film, comic books, cosplay, science fiction illustration and amateur fan art are among her influences.

Rebecca gained the Basil Alkazzi scholarship while studying at the Royal College of Art and graduated with an MA in Fine Art in 2009. She was featured in Bloomberg New Contemporaries in 2009 and has exhibited her work in various exhibitions across London.
